Meet your therapist

Mary Wilkerson comes back home to Fauquier County where she grew up.  She gladly brings her career skills from 16 years of successfully treating thousands of clients in the D.C. metro area.  She began her massage career by working in a variety of different venues from the Ritz-Carlton hotel to an injury-rehab clinic.  She was the massage therapist recruited to open the first day spa in the area and later served as consultant for various spas, advising them on establishing/operating the massage facility.

In August of 1999 she was awarded the AMTA's Government Relations Activist award for her work in changing the Town of Vienna, Virginia's massage law in 1994 and for chairing the AMTA's local legislative committee which worked with the County of Fairfax to bring about revision of the county's massage law.  In addition to her basic massage training and subsequent national certification in 1994, she also has an advanced (national) certification in Medical Massage (2005), and training which includes Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release, and Active Isolated Stretching.  Mary looks forward to providing you with the best possible massage experience at Blue Ridge Restorative Therapies!
